Sansevieria Cleopatra Physical Characteristics
The leaves of Sansevieria Cleopatra are green and sword-shaped. They are filled with deep-green stripes and their edges are red.
Sansevieria Cleopatra’s height depends a lot on amount of sunlight, water and general care it receives. Usual height of healthy Sansevieria Cleopatra ranges between 12 to 18 inches (30 to 45 cm).

Sunlight: Sansevieria Cleopatra thrives under bright, indirect sunlight. At least 6 hours of sunlight every day ensures your snake plant stays healthy. Be aware of prolonged direct sunlight exposure – it may lead to sunburn and yellowing leaves.
Temperature: Sansevieria Cleopatra enjoys room temperature. Everything between 70 – 90 °F (21 – 32 °F) is great for her. Protect her from freezing temperatures, as they can affect her health.
Water: Check the soil before watering – if it feels dry, that means your Sansevieria Cleopatra needs water. Soil would need about 2-3 weeks to dry out during the active growing season(spring and summer). However, during winter, it may need more than that.
Soil: Well-draining soil is a must – sansevierias are succulents after all, which means they store water. If you don’t plant your Sansevieria Cleopatra in soil that drains well, excess water will stay around the roots causing them to rot. Learn how to make your well-draining soil here.
Fertilizer: Succulents don’t need a lot of nutrients. Using diluted fertilizer designed for succulents every 4-6 weeks during the active growing season will be enough for Sansevieria Cleopatra.
Growth
Repotting is necessary if you want your Sansevieria Cleopatra to continue to grow. Once you notice her pot doesn’t give her enough room to grow, remove it from the soil and inspect her roots. Cut every dead or diseased root. Then, fill the new, bigger pot with well-draining soil and plant your sansevieria in the middle of it. Let Sansevieria Cleopatra recover from stress by watering her lightly for a couple of days.
Sansevieria Cleopatra may get sick – if you notice diseased or yellow leaves make sure to cut them away. By doing this, you’ll stop the disease from spreading.
Propagating Sansevieria Cleopatra can be done through division. If your sansevieria has offsets, separate them from the soil and let them dry. Once they do, plant them in well-draining soil. You can use leaves for propagation too. Cut a healthy leaf and divide it into pieces(every piece should be 2-3 inches long). Let each piece dry before you plant it in well-draining soil. Finally, you can use water for propagation. Cut a leaf and place it in water, submerging the cut end. Change the water regularly to keep it clean. Wait for roots to develop before planting the leaf in well-draining soil.
